I'm 20, she's 19, and we both live with our parents. We've been talking on the phone for about a month now, but we only went out once (our schedules haven't crossed lately). She's been caring for her son around the clock all week because he had a bad fever and has been sick. After school today (around noon? or 1?), I was going to offer to bring her lunch, and maybe hang out with her at her house for a while. I'm NOT looking to get into bed with her (yet), but I'd still feel wierd kind of inviting myself over like that. Is it too soon to do this?

I've never had a relationship before so I don't quite know this kind of stuff.

Offering to bring her a picnic sounds like a nice guesture to me! But she may be uncomfortable with you over too soon. How about offering to meet her for a picnic in the local park? Or some neutral place like that? If she wants you to come over, she'll invite you! :-D Best wishes, you sound like a great guy.

I wouldn't say it is being pushy. It just sounds like you really care for this girl. I'd say stopping by with lunch sounds like a great idea. She may even appreciate some adult companionship after caring for her son who has been sick. But don't stop there. Show her how much a caring person you really are. Depending on the age of the boy take him a cuddly toy to help make him feel a bit better.

Make the offer to bring her lunch, and let her decide if its too soon.
I wouldn't say its too soon, you both live with parents, so its pretty safe, however, are you two ready to "meet the parents"? Maybe that is why she hasn't offered yet, because of them.
If you do take her lunch, don't be rude and not take something for the parents, or the child. The parents might not like it if you bring their daughter food and then make a mess and expect them to clean it. I would say, make the offer to your girlfriend, and suggest you want to bring food for the parents too, and then go from there. They might think its nice, but they won't want you to go out of your way.

Ahh thats a nice thought, nothing wrong with having lunch. As long as you are not pushy on the sexual side i think thats a nice thing to do.I am sure she would be very greatful and would like some adult company after looking after her sick child.
