I differentiate them according to the quality and depth of investment-not just financial-between the people involved. When I love, I make time for people and prioritize time with them into my schedule.
Being in love means detachment from the outcome and just being joyful in the other's presence.

Loving a person is having fun when you are with them, being in love is wanting to be with them regardless as to the circumstances.
