I've been getting those darn envelopes in the mail for more than two decades. Can say how many I've actually sent in. I know I've only ordered twice but not only have I never won anything, I never see the "Prize Patrol" awarding a prize to anyone. In 20 years, this elusive "Prize Patrol" seems to have been nothng more than a tool for suckers like myself to sit around licking and pasting those stupid stamps....hoping for a big payoff.

Does anyone ever really win the PCH $10,000,000 prize?

Yes they do win....that being said, the odds of winning are extremely long...read the fine print, The draw is usually 2-3 years away, they send out millions of envelopes every couple of months and you don't have to buy to enter, so millions of entries are returned every couple of months. So by the time the prize is paid there is probable as much as 1/2 billion entries.. But someone wins, it is the law, and rules are followed and audited.

But they make up the money on millions buying the stuff in the adds because they either like it or think they have a better chance of winning if they do.
