I have a girl friend that has an ex that lives out of state. He constantly text messages inappropriate things. She doesn't want to change her celll number because she simply ignores them, but they are really getting on my nerves. How can I get him to stop. I have tried calling him and texting him, but none of that seems to work. Is there any legal way I can do it?

It seems like she acutally likes it if she doesn;t want to change her number. Tell her to call him and tell him to stop or she ll put a restraning order on him, u sit next to her and talk to him as well. If it doesn't stop call police an dshow them all the text messages, do not erase them. police will take care of it, but just let her know that police would take away her cell phone for the investigation, so she would have to get a new phone anyways, so she ,might as well just go with changing her number.

I have never had to involve the police when trying to get a man to leave me alone. I try to be nice about it at first but if they keep it up they get my full wrath. I make it very clear that it's not going to happen. I threatened one guy with a glass bottle, I had the damn thing raised up over my head and was going to bash him with it, he left me alone after that. One time I did have to go to my father for help. I was 18 and this 30 something year old truck driver was stalking me and propositioning me. It got to the point where I would cringe every time I saw a Pepsi truck, even in another town and I knew it wasn't him I would still get antsy. I finally decided I needed help. My dad wanted to kill him, but instead he called the company and had him rerouted, he eventually was fired. If this gut really scares you don't hesitate to call the police and have him taken care of, you won't regret it.

Call your provider and see if there is call blocking. She can always send out a mass text to the people that she wants to have the new phone number if not.
