One Hell of a big question! Well lots of Holiday makers go abroad for their hol's so this has made the traditional "Family holiday"a thing of the past, but cheaper holidays for the less well off are booming, holidays for the older generation are doing well also, as the current "Young retireds" are more affluent than most, as they have probably paid off their mortgages etc and have money to spend, also Special interest Holidays are very popular

3 or 4 years ago I took my wife and kids up to Scotland where I am from. I visited all the places by the sea where I spent as a kid like Largs, Saltcoats, Ardrossan etc. I got the shock of my life, all these once boomming places in the summer are now like ghost towns, the boats in Saltcoats harbour have all gone, so has the huge funfare. Ardrossan was very quiet and Largs, all the fishing trip boats have all gone along with the hire boats. Its a bloody shame for the local buisnesses who depended on the trade.

Here's a good one: Put all those cheapo-charter-chavs in a big plane and crash it in the middle of the atlantic.
