me and my boyfriend have been together for about 2 yrs. it's been on and off (mainly bc of our differences and i have a habit of breaking up with him everytime i get mad). we always come back to eachother though. one time i hurt him a lot by breaking up with him because he mentioned marriage and i got scared. i refused to see him for 5 months, but he waited for me to come back. we tried to work it out again, but we argued and i dumped him again. it hurt him a lot and he moved on but he was mean to his new girlfriend by comparing her to me infront of her face and continuing to see me behind her back. one time she caught us hanging out at the library (we're in college). she dumped him and soon after he came back to me. i truly love him, but for some reason, i feel like ever since he tried to move on with that girl, i feel differently about him. i still love him, and we don't fight anymore. he's sweeter than he's ever been. but... something's holding me back.
any ideas?
advice please!

I don't think you love him. You love the notion of him wanting to be with you. You should just move on and let him go, eventually he'll get over you and maybe you'll find someone whom you truly love.

What did you anticipate? You dealt with this guy like he became disposable so went someplace else for romance. authentic, he shouldn't have been deceiving this different woman, yet he needless to say cares approximately you. for a manner long, although? in case you may not make up your strategies and you will't committ to your thoughts for him, at some point he will purely become bored of your video games and pass on for solid. this is not honest to him to offload him for all time and then want him back and now you experience distinctive and don't comprehend why. How could you experience if somebody you enjoyed became toying with your thoughts?

You only want him when it suites you, that's not fair on him.I am surprised he has took you back all those times, but the time WILL come when he will say enough is enough and he really will move on.Only you can decide what you want but you should decide quickly so as not to ruin HIS life.

I think you have someone very special and you need to hold on to him. It’s normal to not be comfortable when it comes to a guys ex’s. And when it comes to this ex in particular he moved on from you to her which makes it even harder. But try to look at the bigger picture. Who is he with now and always comes back to? YOU

Please don't take offense to this, but college romances often end. I know that you've been together on and off for two years, but something tells me that your relationship isn't very stable. Do you really want that much drama in your life?

You need to stay single until you know what you want out of life. You are expecting this guy to cater to you, but he can only share his life with you, not live yours for you.

It's simple you make a choice, make a decision regarding him and stick with it.
