It would make as though you're ready to be just more than a friend/aquaintance. It's a sign of maturity and some guys respect that. I would say all but thats always true. It happened to me and still dating her. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't

it all depends on how you perceive yourself and ur motives,that's all that should matter:::but about asking this guy out,it all depends on the guy,i was in a abusive relationship,where this guy kicked me out of his house wanting to give me a beating and almost made me walk across the city to get home(no joke-past event),i'll never forget when he told me this..."You were the one that wanted to be with me b*tch!"
