It is amusing to note that in all of the previous answers there is no explanation of how the Democrats intend to fight the GWOT.
Apparently what we can expect in the future is a continuation of the previous Democrat anti-terror strategy of: ". . . firing a million dollar missile at a five thousand dollar tent and hitting a camel in the butt."

Your dreaming if staying will stop terrorism! Terrorism is a tactic for a cause not a cause in and of itself. The cause in this case is settling old scores between tribes. It just so happens we are in the way of the tribes doing this so we take casualties daily with nothing to show for it. The terrorist yopu think of all the time Al Qaeda are not very powerful as the militias have taken there place. There job was to get the civil war started and keep us bogged down in Iraq and lessen the load on their brothers in Afghanistan a tactic that has so far done all that was required of it. If we leave here the tribes will slug it out awhile longer than things will settle down and the emergance of three new countries will be the result. The terrorist will have no more role to play in Iraq and move back tro ASfghanistan where the US can concentrate it's forces and really pound Al Qaeda the way this war should have been fought in the 1st place.

Dude Iraq is the biggest FUBAR in the history of the galaxy.
Bush has created far more terrorist then he has killed.
The democrats never said that leaving Iraq will solve terrorism.
They said we should continue to fight international terrorism. But you see they have brains. They see that spending 8 billion dollars a month in Iraq is not solving the terrorism problem. Do you have any idea how much intelligence work you could do with that kind of money. Hey maybe we could spend billions actually inspecting the cargo containers that are coming in every day. Any one of them could contain a nuclear devices. Bush is not fighting terrorism you imbecile. He is creating it.

Its funny how Bush has spent close to 500 billion dollars and there are more terrorist and the situation deterioates daily.
Just because the Democrats don't have a magic bullet 5 minute solution does not mean they don't have a plan. They have a plan use diplomacy and force the Iraqies to stand up. I guess the Republican plan is to dump 8 billion dollars a month into the country until every citizen is dead. Yeah thats a great plan.
The United States will be bankrupt and we will have about 100,000 casualties. So tell me what exactly is the Republican
plan and please don't give me the classic sound bites. The Republicans don't have a plan either. Yet they are killing a lot of people and wasting a lot of money. Thats what people are fed up with.

Why do you guys keep screaming about Democrats having no plan? Originally there were a few that kept saying that we were invading with inadequate troop levels. There were a few that predicted that this would happen. Yet the President and his man, Rumsfeld, went right on a head and invaded any way.
If you really want to put the blame on anyone, it rests with those guys. There is no real solution to the problems in Iraq. Bush has just now come around to saying that the war planning was mishandled. There were plans sent up the proper channels that could have salvaged this fiasco, but Rumsfeld refused to even consider them.
Simply put, there is no real solution to the situation in Iraq. It doesn't matter who takes the White House in 08, the situation is, for better or worse, a loss cause unless moderate Iraqis step up and do something themselves.

First, mastering English is necessary before arguing the pro and cons of foreign policy.
Second, Terrorism isn't the case in Iraq. No terrorist attacks were ever instrumented on Americans via the Iraqi people. If we were still targeting terrorism, we would be in Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Iran.
Democrats go into places with thought and process. If going into a country that never attacked us, did not threaten us, and the World's best weapon's inspectors found nothing, is an intelligent strategy, than you must be crazy.
The leaders of Iraq did commit crimes on their own people, but that was 5 years ago. Using that as a motive will justify our troops to go into Rwanda or Yugoslavia now, rather than when problems and terrorism did occur.

You Republicans ask why doesn't the democrat make a plan, who lied and started this war, George Bush. He is the one that is suppose to have a a plan not the Democrats. You can't see all the things that my party is doing he such a short period, then don't have 2 day work week , they work 5 days like all people is suppose to have. If you don't want the troops to leave get off of your behind walk to the recruitment office and sign up, go to Iraq and fight instead sitting on your Republican a** watching all the caskets and maimed come home. Stuffing your face. and then saying what the troops should do, go on suit up.

there is not any go out plan for Iraq. we will be there in a unmarried way or yet another for a minimum of two a lengthy time period if no longer longer. The Democrats recognize this, yet they ought to act as regardless of the actuality that we ought to continually deliver the troops domicile. of direction, this can reason international relationships to break down and in many cases is the reason for the start of international conflict III. see you later as people are there, WW III, received't take position. so a concepts as Iraqi people protecting themselves, who do you propose the Shias or the Sunnis? i ought to assume you propose the Shias. in case you do, it is only going to rile up the Sunnis in Iraq and international places west of Iraq. you should save in ideas 80 5% of Muslims are Sunnis. u.s. is going to ought to thrill the Sunnis besides because the Shias, it is per chance an no longer attainable projects. In different words, we are going to be in Iraq for a lengthy time period.

it seems that all cons can do these days is to claim that someone else does not have a plan.
we all watched bush outline how he thinks that offering more targets to a nation of insurgents who no longer want us there is a 'plan.'
thankfully most americans see bush for what he is - a man who has no ideas and thinks that tough talk and bravado can replace intelligence and strength...
