hey Fosgate 3. Boston is now in the chrysler cars. it's probably a factory unti. hence the dealership suggestion.

A Boston Acoustics head unit? According to their website (bostonacoustics.com), Boston doesnt make a head unit/radio for cars. I've never heard of one even, back in the days. I'm not saying that it's not possible though, just that their website and my experience isnt coming up with anything. What is the model number of this radio?

This is going to be a problem. It sounds like your radio has adopted the "straight edge" lifestyle. Chances are it won't respond to you until you stop drinking and doing drugs.
