Trying to find my birth parents?

Can anyone lead me in the right direction to possibly find my birth parents? I was adopted in the 80's and live in Georgia. Our house burnt down a couple years ago and consequently the only paperwork we had about the adoption went down in flames with the house. Again, does anyone know where I could possibly start my search to find my birth parents?

are your parents still living? i would start there. even if they know the town or hospital you were born in would help. there are web site for just this kind of thing but,i'm sorry, i don't know the names. good luck to you.
