think outside the box....it has nothing to do with the given letters, it probably has something to do with the word "go" G and O and the letters before and after this string...

I am as stumped as the rest of you, though.

its a "peice" of the alphabet. You didn't say you had to use those letters in the word itself, you just had use them to make the word. Therefore the word is "piece."
