His baby tooth is still there but loose. The new tooth seems to be growing above this tooth but upwards out the front of his gum.

Keep wiggling the milk tooth until it falls out. They don`t have any roots.

My son is 7 and he lost his top baby teeth before the Adult teeth came in, but not his bottoms, they came in behind his baby teeth and they were not loose. The dentist had to pull the bottom front 2 baby teeth. If your sons tooth is loose it could be worked out by you it shouldn't effect the new adult tooth but you will need to get the baby tooth out. Work with it and see if you can get it loose enough to get it out within a week or so, of you can't I think you will have to have a dentist pull it. I hope this helped.

If it's causing him a lot of pain, take him to a dentist, otherwise give it a few days. My brother's teeth came in like that, and when his baby teeth finally fell out, both his adult teeth settled down into a normal position. Sometimes the baby tooth just isn't ready to fall out yet. No worries :)

He needs to see a dentist. The babty tooth might need to be taken out. Never hurts to play save with the permanent tooth.

My sister had the same problem, with alot of her teeth, if the tooth is loose enough to pull out, do so, because if you do it early enough, the new tooth, may come in correctly.
If the tooth wont come out, even if you pull, call your dentist up and see what he can do, or if he has any suggestions.

I've had the same problem with my son dentist has just told him to wiggle the tooth to try and get it out he refused to extract it saying he doesn't want to give my son an anaesthetic even while he is in pain with the tooth.

At the age of six, your son should be established with his own personal dentist. If not, that is the place to begin. It will be a simple matter of extracting the baby teeth that are not being pushed out by the permanent teeth coming in. I would say it would be appropriate to give a dentist a call right away.

My daughter's baby tooth was imbedded in the roof of her mouth and had it pulled. You need to go to a dentist and have it pulled.
