Eeek! tough one, and you will NEVER get an absolute, undeniable answer!
There are a lot of factors, one of it is fit, some bikes fit people different, so maybe Santa Cruz might be your cup of tea, but Titus not as much. Or viceversa.
Also, how much money do you want to spend? What do you define as XC? Just off road, or some more agro stuff?
I would say that as a XC, Titus Racer-X, Turner Flux, Ventana El Saltamontes would be very good contenders. But, if you're budget is lower than that, there are other options.
Giant Trance or Anthem, Specialized Epic, Santa Cruz Superlight, Canondale Rush would be also very good and not as pricey as the other ones.
If you like more agro, probably Titus Moto Lite, Turner 5-Spot, Ventana X-5, Santa Cruz Blur would be some very good options.
Ibis also sounds pretty good, but probably not for XC, more for all mountain (whatever that means, which could be just more aggresive XC).
Besides frames, you also need to consider which components and bits and pieces you're going to use to build your bicicle.
