Ok...here's the story! My girlfriend is being a B*tch today!! I'm so sick of her i really am! Her and I were supposed to go out to eat at 11:00. I had just gotten out of class at 11 and two friends came up to my car and asked me for a ride home. It was kind-of a far drive they live three downs away but i said ok. I gave them a ride home then called my girlfriend up it was around....11:30....11:45 when i called her and she was mad. I explained how they needed a ride home and she said well...what about us? I have class at 1:00 it's 12:00 now....i said so come over then drive to class...she slammed down the phone and now won't talk to me!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER?? WHAT DID I DO!!! I AM FURIOUS RIGHT NOW I DID NOTHING THIS IS HER FAULT!! SHE IS MAKING A BIG DEAL ABOUT NOTHING!!! wow...we couldn't go out today it's the end of the world! THIS IS HER FAULT NOT MINE!!!

You were supposed to meet her at 11:00 and you didn’t call until 11:45? You should have called her at 11:00. Likely, she’s not mad because you helped out a friend, she’s mad because she sit around waiting for you for almost an hour. That was rude and inconsiderate of you. Sorry, Buddy, YOU were wrong.

AND I'M SURE THAT NONE OF THAT IS TRUE, THAT'S JUST HOW GIRLS THINK A LOT OF THE TIME! SO IF YOU REALLY LIKE HER JUST LEAVE HER A MESSAGE SAYING THAT YOUR SORRY FOR NOT CALLING RIGHT AWAY, AND TELL HER HOW IMPORTANT SHE IS TO YOU AND THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE HER! Really it is not her fault as she was not the one who was late. Did you bother to call her and tell her what was going on before being 45 minutes late? But on the other hand she over reacted alot and learns to take a chill pill. Maybe to make up for your part in this surprise her after class with lunch or something waiting.

This may not be a big deal to you and most might agree that it is not something to let ruin your day, but it might have been a big deal to her. For whatever reason.
Regardless...if you had planned to do something with her and had something else come up, then calling her to let her know that you'd be late is probably what she feels you should/could have done.
If she really likes you, it might have really hurt her feelings.
If you really like her, it might help to let her know that you didn't intend to be inconsiderate.

You could have called her befor you took them home, so she wouldnt have been wondering where the heck you were. Or how about this, you knew you had limited time for your girl so you could have told them, sorry got a date. What if you had been the one waiting ? How would you have felt ?

It seems to me that you guys are way too intense for one another. This girl is a drama queen who is very immature and you need to take a deep breath and find someone who wont hang up on you when your be friendly.

if you really care for her and want to make her happy it wouldnt matter if they needed a ride the world has cell phones and your frends have parents. you shouldve went straght to her and taken her out for lunch
