You both were wrong cause before you changed the plans you you have called before taking them home! On the other hand let's be adults slamming the phone down when communication is the best key. So let's sit down and talk about it!! THAT"S THE ONLY WAT..GOOD LUCK

You were supposed to meet her at 11:00 and you didn’t call until 11:45? You should have called her at 11:00. Likely, she’s not mad because you helped out a friend, she’s mad because she sit around waiting for you for almost an hour. That was rude and inconsiderate of you. Sorry, Buddy, YOU were wrong.

WHEN IT COMES TO GIRLS THERE IS ALMOST ALWAYS A DEEPER MEANING BEHIND AN ARGUMENT OR A FIGHT! SHE IS PROBABLY BUMMED THAT YOU DIDN'T CALL HER AT 11:00 AND TELL HER WHAT WAS GOING ON THEN, MAYBE SHE FEELS LIKE YOU DON'T MAKE ENOUGH TIME FOR HER SO SHE MUST NOT BE THAT IMPORTANT TO YOU! AND I'M SURE THAT NONE OF THAT IS TRUE, THAT'S JUST HOW GIRLS THINK A LOT OF THE TIME! SO IF YOU REALLY LIKE HER JUST LEAVE HER A MESSAGE SAYING THAT YOUR SORRY FOR NOT CALLING RIGHT AWAY, AND TELL HER HOW IMPORTANT SHE IS TO YOU AND THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE HER! THAT SHOULD MAKE HER CALL YOU, AND THEN WHEN EVERYTHING CALMS DOWN, TELL HER THAT YOU DON'T LIKE IT WHEN SHE IGNORES YOU, AND YOU WANT HER TO TALK TO YOU AND TELL YOU WHAT IS WRONG WHEN YOU GUYS FIGHT. THAT WAY SHE WON'T AVOID YOUR CALLS IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG. AND IF SHE ALWAYS TELLS YOU WHAT IS GOING ON A SITUATION LIKE THIS SHOULDN'T ARISE AGAIN! GOOD LUCK!

Really it is not her fault as she was not the one who was late. Did you bother to call her and tell her what was going on before being 45 minutes late? But on the other hand she over reacted alot and learns to take a chill pill. Maybe to make up for your part in this surprise her after class with lunch or something waiting.

This may not be a big deal to you and most might agree that it is not something to let ruin your day, but it might have been a big deal to her. For whatever reason.
Regardless...if you had planned to do something with her and had something else come up, then calling her to let her know that you'd be late is probably what she feels you should/could have done.
If she really likes you, it might have really hurt her feelings.
If you really like her, it might help to let her know that you didn't intend to be inconsiderate.

You could have called her befor you took them home, so she wouldnt have been wondering where the heck you were. Or how about this, you knew you had limited time for your girl so you could have told them, sorry got a date. What if you had been the one waiting ? How would you have felt ?

Oh Good Grief, cut the B**th loose, and go find a GF who is not a drama queen. Who wants to be with someone who gets mad at you because you stopped to help a friend?

It seems to me that you guys are way too intense for one another. This girl is a drama queen who is very immature and you need to take a deep breath and find someone who wont hang up on you when your be friendly.
