There is one, really hot, guy at school. Bad thing, my friend likes him too. What should I do?! She would hate me if she knew! She seems to think I start liking whoever she does, and she doesn' like it! What am I supposed to do to get the guy, and keep my friend too?

Only way around this one is to have the guy come after you. I wouldn't recommend being sneaky and underhanded to achieve this or you potentially lose your friend. Just be around and act real nice and be interested, but not to the point where it seems you are flirting. If it doesn't work, then you go after the guy's friends.

It depends....if you liked him before she told you then oh well because its a fair game....the thing is its dog eat dog out there and just becauise your friend says she likes a guy that you fancy doesnt mean that it ties you down syin hand off because its just a crush its not like that her boyfriend or anythin
Just because she has a crush on him doesnt mean that he llikes her...if he likes you, good for you, tough for her......she will just learn how to deal with it
i doubt she will end a friendship over a stupid boi, if she does...it here my friend you have friendship not worth saving

well if you and your frind liek the same guys its nothing bad cus thats why your friends right cus you guys have similar likes and dislikes...so explain to her that she shouldnt be scared of a little competition, i mean its not like other girls arnt gonna try to get him too, and well this way you girls can even work together and you have a better chance of getting the guy, u know like u try one thing if that dont work then she tries something else ...

Second, I think that this is wrong. You should get over him and move on.

Ok I have a friend like that too so i know how you feel.I told her i liked the same by as her,But yeah she go mad at me but she just got over it after a while,Even though i liked him first.

Why don't you let him decide? My gosh, you're putting too much thought into something that isn't your decision. Do your best to get him to notice you but let him make his own mind up and don't worry about your friend. She can't blame you if he picks you now can she?

once you're out of highschool things won't matter as much any more. when you realize that you'll do better. and if this guy knows you and likes you well your friend should be happy for you, not be jealous or not like you.
above all it is highschool friends first

If he likes you back go for it. It isn’t your fault you guys have similar taste. But if it is obvious he has know interest in you but you still pursue him just for fun. Then that is being unfair to your friend.
