I would go back to the salon, and maybe even request a different stylist fix it. If this isn't an option, try using a toning shampoo. I would not rec commend trying to color it yourself with a toner. The stylist should fix it for free. Plus if you mess it up, there's no way he/she will fix it for you.

There's a few things you can do. First, you should try contacting the salon if they are at fault. Many salons (at least, the good ones) will offer to fix your hair if they've left it differently than you requested.
If they're not at fault, or you're afraid to call in and request help (which happens, believe me), try toning at home. Make sure to use a semi-permanent color, and stick with cooler shades of what you're using (since your color has turned brassy, we need to "dull that down"). Semi-permanent color is your best option here, since you've already colored your hair, and coloring over it will do alot of damage right now. Since semi-permanent doesn't fry your hair as badly, this is definitely the safer option.
Last, but DEFINITELY not least - regardless of who colors your hair, you or the salon, CONDITION, CONDITION, CONDITION! Processing your hair over and over is going to suck your hair dry, and the chemicals will leave it incredibly weak. You need to do a conditioning treatment 2-3 times a week (I usually do one every other time I shampoo) to restore some of the moisture. My favorite low price hair mask is Aussie's Three Minute Miracle (make sure you get the "Deep" conditioner, and not just the regular). It has saved my hair on countless occassions, and I highly recommend.
GOOD LUCK, and have an awesome day!

Go back to the salon. If they messed up, they are obligated to correct the mistake. Unless they discussed a risk of brassiness with you prior to performing the colouring, then you have every right to demand a refund or correction.
If they refuse, contact their corporate office with your complaint and visit another reputable salon, explain the situation and get it fixed. They may offer you a discount for the correction (happy to fix the mistake of a competitor and gain a new client).

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "brassy" without seeing your hair. I think tht the best thing to do though is to get a deap nourishing hair mask or a lot of conditionor and put it on to damp hair. Then wrap your hair in cling film( If you r american you will call cling film plastic wrap) and leave it for half an hour. The natural heat from your head will help seal in the liquids. I hope that this helpsx

Double shampoo and then get a lemon and sqeeze it into the palm of your hand w/ shampoo and then wash if that doesnt work. Use mayonnaise (i am serious i am a specialist.) then wash it out till its all gone then condition. :):):):O)
