Did Abraham have 5 "pillars" of HIS islam:
1. Did Abraham say "... and mohammed WILL BE his prophet?" Or did he say "...and Abraham is his prophet"? If so, why was THAT lost down through time (even though Abraham continues to be revered and honored)?
2. he could pray 5x/day
3. he could have given to the poor
4. he couldn't have fasted during Ramadan, since Ramadan DIDN'T EXIST then (since Ramadan celebrates revealing koran to mohammed, not - apparently - Abraham).
5. was Mecca even a PLACE then? How could abraham have gone on a hajj? If he did - why was THAT lost to history as well?

Did Abraham have OTHER pillars? What were they? Why did they change? If they DIDN'T change - HOW could Abraham have done the 5 pillars?

This is a SERIOUS question that NO ONE has ever answered. No one.

When a Muslim say that Abraham(PBUH) or any Prophet of Allaah was a Muslim, they are saying this because Muslim means one who sumitts his will to do the will of Allaah. Your question about 5 pillars wasn't established by Abraham(PBUH). Who claims that the 5 pillars that Muslims follow and believe in were established by Abraham? So, how could he have done them? A Muslim believes that Abraham(PBUH) was a Prophet of Allaah. There are numerous stories about him.
1. Abraham came as a Prophet to his people to tell them that there was no God but One God! Muhammad was to come some time later as the last and final Prophet so why would he be included in the shadahah(declaration of Faith) of Abraham?
2. Abraham did pray but the 5x a day was established when Muhammad(PBUH) took his night Journey.
3. Abraham did give to the poor.
4. He did fast but not in Ramadhan.
5. Mecca was a place but not on a map like we know it. Abraham was said to have bought his wife Haajar to this area with his their son Ishmael. At that time there was no one. The first to settle there were Haajar and Ishmael. It was dry and barren. Then came the water zam zam. Following this came more people. Oh, forgot to mention the building of the kaabah. It was built by Abraham(PBUH).

1. Abraham and every other prophet so far have made the doctrine of worshipping God alone, their main message. By living this ideal, they have fulfilled the shahaadah. There is no God but Allah. The second part of the shahaada was for the followers of those prophets, even if the words arent the same, the way to salvation was through following the specific prophet whence he came.

2. Abraham and every other prophet of God have prayed to the creator with a form of prayer that was beyond just asking. This form of prayer involved prostrating. Normally when you prostrate, you do so in a specific direction. There are books about how the old jews used to pray. It looks very similar to the way God us to pray in the Quran.

3. Zakaat or rather giving alms, has been around for more than anyone can remember. Any God fearing man, would not sit back and watch poor people suffer if he could help it. It wasnt made compulsory back at the time tho, I think the reason was because people did it out of their own natures anyway. As time passed, and humans increased in numbers, the need to make alms giving compulsory was much more important. As humans had grown accustomed to many things, thus forgetting to give to the poor.

4. Fasting has been around for as long as anyone can remember too. Especially fasting to preserve the integrity of your spiritual journey, to please God, and to cleanse your physical body of impurities. The nature of fasting during Abrahams days is unknown, but making it compulsory, God made sure every believer had reached a certain standard of spiritual cleansing.

5. Finally, we Muslims are told that Abraham, was the one who first received the stone from heaven, and was ordered to build around it, as an anchor to turn to.

We have no literary records of Abrahams pillars, but I am sure that his pillars were not very different than the ones found in Islam.

There are two problems with your logic in regards to this subject.
First. Abraham was a Hebrew, he was a descendant of Shem the son of Noah. He lived in Ur of the Chaldees. His son Ishmael became the patriarch if you will, of the Arabs.

Second. Muhammad or Mohammad was born Mecca in what is now Saudi Arabia. He lived from 570-632AD.

There are many generations and thousands of years between these two individuals. Your conclusion is incorrect, and not supported by historical facts.

Abraham was not muslim. He was a hebrew. He was told by God that he would be a father of many nations. And he was. What most people fail to realize...Because they only read whats in the Bible and if it doesnt say it in the Bible then it must not be true..come on guys you can lean on plain historical facts also....Is that the start and split right between the Christian line and muslim line is when his wife Sarah, was well to damn impatient. Sarah wanted a child, and although she was told by God she would have one, she didnt trust him. So one night she sent her slave girl, Haggar into abrahams tent and soon after Haggar and Sarah both became pregnant. Sarahs son was Issac and Haggars son Ishmael. Boom theres the split. The long line of genealogy and history can be found by cross referencing the bible with history.

Abraham (A.S.) did have the pillars they just didn't have a name then. When Muhammad (S.A.W.) recived them they had been given a name. Basiclly "The Five Pillars" are the same as they were when Abraham (A.S.) recived them.
