you arent going to get a purbred for free, and not likely a mixed one either. Free dogs are hard to find and they are the ones that no one wants, nor were thought out long and hard for there breeding. I wouldnt chance it. If you want a Boston your going to have to pay for a Boston, but let me know if you find one for free!

Good for you for knowing not to get a dog from a pet shop. Breeders are the safe way to go. But no, if pets aren't allowed, it's not a good idea to get one. No matter how quiet this dog is, he will bark, he will need to be going outside a lot and everyone in the building will know he's there. How fair would it be to this poor puppy to be taken to a shelter because you were forced to get rid of him by the landlord. You need to find a place to live that allows dogs before you get a puppy. Besides, any reputable breeder would make sure you're allowed to have a dog before selling you a puppy. If you rent, most breeders want written permission from the landlord. You need to wait until you can move.

In your dreams. Bostons are one of the pricier breeds (up there with pugs, bulldogs, yorkies). If you can find a free purebred dog, it's most likely got a LOT of problems. Why else would someone give it away for free?

Your best bet is to look at breed rescues. IF you can find one in a regular shelter, you'll pay less... but the purebreds often get sent off to the breed rescue groups. Still, a breed rescue will charge less than a breeder.

Why do you want a FREE boston terrier? That gives the impression that you will not be taking good care of the dog, since you aren't willing to pay for the dog itself. Do you feed a food without corn and by-products? If not, you do need to. You should look at shelters and rescues for a dog.

Unless someone gives you a free one, I dont think it's possible. Shelters and most responsible people ask for an adoption fee. Puppies are never free if you think about it. They need to have vaccines, get "fixed", flea preventative, medical care when sick, food etc.

Contact your local shelters and rescues. I doubt if you'll find one for free though unless you find a current owner in hardship.
