The worst advice I got was from a so-called friend who told me to *whispers* get some 'practice' in before getting married and then pray to God to forgive you as God has the power to! Now that type of advice sucks!

My priests told me that there are no Chinese people in Heaven - except those that had converted to CHristianity.
That was the beginning of my conversion to atheism....

Some one told me that I should not pray for the enemy or a person that was convicted of murder . I could not believe it .

That it was our "duty" to convert others with or without a religion of their own. I don't feel that it is--religion should be private and a matter of choice.
