If we are born into sin, and we had no choice about it, its in our inherit nature, why be punished for it? That like kicking a dog because it barks it cant help it, or spanking a baby that cries because its hungry. Is God any better than a man and a woman who decide to have an abortion? This world and living thing is giving me a headach.

It is not a question of whether or not we "chose" to be sinners. The fact is that we ARE sinners and are therefore worthy to be damned.

If you see a cockroach, you kill it. It's not the cockroaches fault that its a disgusting creature.

Yet it is not wrong to kill it. So it is with us. We are naturally vile in the eyes of a holy God. He has every right to kill us just like a cockroach. The amazing thing is that He actually chooses to save some of us! (Can you imagine saving a cockroach?!) To those who repent of their sins and trust Jesus alone, He gives the right to become children of God.

Read Romans 9 in the Bible, it addresses your very question.

ahh yes the age old question. I'm suprised not one of your answerees mentioned the age of accountability. So according to most Christians although you are born a sinner, you really arent accountable for your actions until you reach a certain age. (widely believed to be the age of 12) So youre a-ok if you die before the age of 12 withouth walking and living in "faith" or "Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior". After that. Well....you are bound to be sent to juvenille hell...

I guess twelve means you are old enough to know the difference between right and wrong.

Well he is giving us free will, and is our choice to choice him or a life without him. So if you were not born into sin then you wouldnt really have free will, we would all believe in him.

We have the opportunity to be forgiven and saved from hell through Jesus Christ, if we choose to accept Him as our personal savior.
