Don't worry about it!! The worst thing you can do is force yourself to eat things you can't eat. Eat whatever doesn't make you sick. I know you want to eat as much healthy stuff as you can, but it is much better to eat something that stays down, rather than eating something that you are just going to puke up anyway. You should stay away from cold cuts, since they can contain Listeria, a baceria that can be harmful to the baby. The baby doesn't need much right now, you will make up for it later, so just eat what you can, small amounts, several times a day. See about getting Diclectin from your doc.

I had the same problem. The only things I could keep down in the beginning were mac & cheese, stuffing, potatoes, and soups. Good god, I could not eat anything remotely spicy or my stomach would go nuts and I would have to vomit (so upsetting for me, I love spicy food and craved it a lot during my pregnancy!). I would say if you have a craving for subway, try and see if you can eat it. I could also eat bananas, those were very easy on my stomach and made me feel better. One thing that might help is not to eat anything cold or hot, try to eat things that are just warm or room temperature. Any time I drank cold water or had hot soup it made me nauseated. My mom had picked me up some pieces of ginger to chew on from the store, and that helped with the nausea. Good luck, I feel for you!

It's not bad for you but your body can't handle it just yet. This is your body's natural way of protecting the baby from toxins. It's frustrating but it won't last forever. Try adding ginger to your diet if you can as it's a natural anti-nausea cure. You can drink ginger ale but that's loaded with sugar and you shouldn't drink diet soda with a baby growing inside you (too many chemicals). It's better to brew a nice tea using ginger root and then sweeten to taste. You can drink it hot or cold and if you add some lemon juice, it's like a spicy lemonade. You can also try ginger snaps, steamed rice, bananas, grilled (plain) chicken, applesauce, yogurt, chicken broth, and toast/crackers. Best to avoid caffeine and too much juice or citrus. In a few more weeks, you'll be able to stomach that Subway:)
Best of luck.

Well it is tough to tell. Usually hunger doesn't start anywhere near this early and implantation bleeding is usually just a few spots of light blood around the time you would have expected a period. But, everyone is different. If you are not pregnant, I would make an appointment to find out if there is something else going on. Good luck!

Having stomach problems in the first trimester of pregnancy ( about the first 3 months) is normal. Your body is gettin used to the chemical changes that are happening in your system. Although you should get some nutrients into your system to help you and your unborn child. Try eating light foods, like soups and apple sauce. If you need to, you can always stir in some protien and take the vitamins you need to stay healthy.

When my girlfriend was pregnant she had a lot of problems keeping food down. She was always throwing up but she also craved subway a lot and was always able to keep it down. Another thing she was able to keep down was potato products like hashbrowns or a baked potato. If you want a subway then go ahead and try it.

same thing happened to me...eat small snacks -often- eg try witoast if you can keep it down for 15-20min have a banana if you can keep it down try a yogart etc...smaller meals more often helped me out. You will be able to eat whatever you want soon enough..I'd stay away from lots of salt or spice untill the morning sickness passes...
