beleive in Xenu? It's seems really far fetched. Does Tom Cruise really beleive this crap or does he just follow the guidlines but thinks Xenu is bull?

Just to let you guys know, I'm not teasing anyone. I beleive in God, and I'm sure the ppl who don't think I'm weird too. I just think that having the beleif that all these futuristic aliens with all this high tech stuff existed before the dinosaurs is just really out there. Especially that all this came from a Sci-Fi author. But I guess you can get ppl to beleive anything if it's banged in their head long enough.

From the bit of research I did, it seems likely that the general masses do NOT believe in this. Apparently they do not make a big deal of this critter until you're higher up in the ranks. Which is a damned good idea!

It sounds as if they're gradually introduced to the idea, so it may not sound quite so .... well, alien to them.

And of course they're going to present it in such a way as to sound believable. Saying it the way you did makes it sound like complete nonsense. I'm sure it can be explained in a much more scientific-sounding way that makes it seem quite logical.

And after all, there are tons of people who believe in aliens and whatnot. Making it part of a religion isn't that much of a stretch then.

And then of course consider how many view their own religions. Their origins and fables, that is. I was raised catholic. Did I believe that Mary was a virgin, that jesus was the son of god, etc.? Yes, no and maybe is the answer. I simply didn't worry about it because it really wasn't the whole point of being catholic.

Well people can be made to believe anything and scientology is really no less absurd than christianity or islam or other major religions. They all share the same absence of evidence coupled with ridiculous claims and a requisite for blind faith.

It seems he very really believes it, no matter how improbable or ridiculous it is.

The thing that is most interesting to me is that people really believe scientology (and like most religions many of the members get spiritual experiences from their beliefs) even though it was created out of a bet Hubbard made in 1954 with a fellow sci-fi writer. He made a bet he could start his own religion, and it didn't take long for people to actually believe it.

People, scientology was invented by a guy who writes science fiction books and believes one day a spaceship arriving from the andromeda galaxy will come and rescue him.
So go figure! Anyone with a substantial amount of intellectual level would know not to follow the scientology nonsense.

I was curious one time and researched scientology. It's all obvious bull crap! And Tom Cruise, he believes everything. In fact, he's one of the top dawgs of the religion now, together with the oh, so sexy John Travolta. Even the Presley's (Lisa Marie and Priscilla) are giving in to the bullshit, yet they still celebrate Christmas at Graceland, go figure...

Tom Cruise is a tool. Scientology is a cult. Any "religion" that make you pay to get to the next level of enlightenment is a crock. Don't worry...it won't be long now until all the Scientologists drink the kool-aid.

Xenu is poet for arcaic surrender and passion for sarcasm, it is gaelic as well, indicating superior kin for details and foretelling sarcasm.
I insist sarcasm is a very fine treat and accomplishment in society, with no boundaries or threat to food and local intake, refrain not from converting surroundings and truth into a more open you. See the fate of extinction and suffer no more the pangs of death in murder and complete adventure in fear.
Bye.

The higher ups believe it. I saw proof on 60 Minutes. I believe its a cult designed to steal money. All the teachings cost hundreds to thousands of dollars then when u get into the "clear zone" they charge millions. It's a cult.

that is faulty to say that human beings developed from monkeys. human beings developed from the kinfolk of the finished apes, and apes aren't any further monkeys. Primates bypass decrease back some 50 million years. search for suggestion from a timeline for the type of primates to get a strong concept of the evolutionary procedure.

Scientologists get brainwashed. That's the simple truth of the matter. They are brainwashed by the enticing prospect of solving all of their problems by simply holding two tin cans and repeating past memories over and over until they're "clear" of every "engram" (negative past experiences).
