It's to show your outlook on things. Whether you're an optimist or a pessimist.

The best answer I've ever heard is "There's a glass?"

It's supposed to decide if you're an optimist or a pessimist. Pessimist sees it as half empty, optimist sees it as half full. I'm a realist, I say the glass is too big.

I have adapted it to observe several psychological dispositions.
1. Your outlook on life? Pessimist or optimist?

2. Eyesight? Poor or good? It may look less or more depending.

3. Good or Bad day? On a good day I tend to be more optimistic.

4. Negative or positive? A positive person will most likely say half Full.

If you look at at glass that is partially full (or empty lol) and you say its half empty you would be a pessimist. if you see it as half full you are an optimist.

Your outlook on the subject. If its half empty you have a negative outlook on the subject. If you the glass is half full you have a positive outlook on the subject.

It defends on how a person perceive matters in his life, if he say it is half full, that means he is a positive person,if he say it is half empty he is a negative person. That reflected on how he lives his life too.
