It's a heart felt gester..Why do people treat their animals like humans and spend unbelievable amounts of money on them. Because it brings them joy and makes them feel good. Why do people pray to a god they've never seen?

Anybody who took the time to send a get well card to Barbaro should be commended, not made fun of. The card, even though it is addressed to the horse, is really for his connections who apprently love this horse very much. They could have made a ton of money by having the horse destroyed and collecting on the insurance. Lighten up.

Horses can't read but their caretakers can.It is just a way of showing that you CARE.

i dont know that horse but its probably more for the owner to show him/her that they really love that horse and to supporst the owner more less to show that they are really sorry that her/his horse got hurt.
