I am 45 yrs young and I am having trouble finding someone that I am attracted to. I look in the personnals and see people my age that have children and have been divorced. I am not like other men, but I am normal with the exception that I tend to be overly honest, a great communicator, a great listener, compassionate, trustworthy, and just an all around great guy. I did drive a big truck in the past and hardly ever met anyone that appealed to me... What can I do?

I am looking for women that are divorced, single, with children or without children..it seems like women are looking for the "bad boy" image instead of the "good Guy" that they want after the bad boy has abused them.

Not to be mean, but the older you get, the slimer the pickin's are, my friend.

If you want an long-term, meaningful relationship with a woman, you need to stop eliminating women that are divorced or widowed with children as the ones worth having will likely have that history.

The women that are 45 and never married and never had children are usually in position because they have put their career above anything else and are not likely to want to get off their upwardly mobile success track to pay to much attention to any man that would enter their life now. At best, you would be their weekend toy.

this isn't because I actually have a ideal relationship, notwithstanding that's because familiar feels like continuously on the grounds that I very last talked about him. I artwork 3 jobs and bypass to school finished time. i trust fortunate when I get an hour with him at 5 am because in certain circumstances that's the in user-friendly words time I see him in a weekend. This has damage our relationship because we do not get a lot time jointly, yet those cases we've are magical.A relationship in user-friendly words works if both companions are operating at it jointly. A relationship is an afternoon-to-day attempt and on a daily basis the companions in a relationship ought to do some thing new for another even even if that is a few thing small like putting a candle basic dinner.

You're kinda like me - I'm 38 years old, never married, no kids but looking for a long term relationship. I also worked in a male dominated occupation for many years, which limited my opportunites to meet women (I was a union carpenter)

It is hard to relate to women my age who have been married and divorced and have high school or college age children. And the only women I meet who are never married and childless are young women in their early 20's who are very immature and far too young for me.

If I knew what to do, I'd be more than happy to tell you - unfortunately I don't!!

If you figure out a solution, please let me know!!!

Face it - by the time you get to 45 most single women have been married and divorced. Not all have kids (I'm 40, divorced, no kids). Perhaps you need to accept that if you had wanted a LTR with some hot little thing that had never been married you should have done it 20 yrs ago.

Well the good part of it is"Hey its all downhill From here Dude. Have Fun". Clutch at any straw. You need someone to do your laundry and make the bed if you know what I mean. LOL
