A lot of people think that it's cool to call themselves Jewish even if they aren't Jewish. Also, some Jews spread the word that they are Jewish, even if they have no clue about being Jewish. Why do people do that? Is it cool to be a Jew? Personally, I don't think so. It seems like Jews are some of the most hated people in this world. :(

Jews wrote the Bible, The Old Testament...if that wasn't written then the New Testament would not have been written.
I wish they could tear the book in half too.
But being an American means that we all have the right to believe what ever we want and not get punished for it.

Jewish? There is no difference between a fake Jew and a fake Christian, This sick world we live in is based on hate, jealousy, selfishness, greed, and the miss-use of power. People want to appear better than they are. See 2 Tim 3:1-5 Sometimes we all inflate our selves to impress others.But in Truth there's only one we need to impress. Because he looks into our Figurative hearts.

firstly you had a question that said you wnated to find a fry girl and you said you used to be chabad? did you live in crown hieghts and what made you pull away from it? im chabad and i love it. people are always happy and life is full of purpose! you get to help others and be helped at the same time.
as for this question when you go out and ask people if ther jewish the jewish ones feel such a pride to be jewish because it runs deep inside them even if there not practicing they still feel a connection.
my advice to you is t find a good chabad houes and learn what it REALLY means to be a JEW!

Do you know for a fact that those claiming to be Jews aren't Jews?
Also, about those not having a clue about being Jewish: do you mean they don't belong to the particular branch of Judaism that you approve of? I'm just wondering.

Maybe they think that by pretending to be Jewish, doors will open and opportunities will present themselves.
Jews control a disproportionately high percentage of global wealth and some people may foolishly adopt the philosophy 'If you can't beat them, join them.'

Fake Jews? For the same reason there are so many fake Christians.
It's like fake jewellery......it looks good and it doesn't cost you anything worthwhile.....but it does look good doesn't it?

Why anyone would want to fake being anything other than themselves is beyond me. There was a guy on american idol who dressed up like matisyahu, but he wasn't any good.
