what is the cause for incrase old age orphanage in now a days?

right from the childhood parents give much kindness and freedom to the children, they fail to teach their sacrifices, love and affection towards them, they in future think their parents as a burden, this is one category of mind...
The other category is, the parents ill treat their children as in the movie veyil, they in turn show their way when they are grown up,

we should neither give more kindness nor bitterness..
now a days many parents are leaving their children in hostel at the very young age say 6, 7... they never realise the family bindings, love and relationships...this is also one of the reason for orphanage...

Not sure what you mean by an old age orphanage. If you mean a nursing home, I work in one and the majority of people there have their families scattered all over the country. Even if they have family in the same city, the family needs to work and the elderly need round the clock care.

They are not known as old age orphanages but old age homes. The reason is that the offsprings are selfish and don't want to care for their aged parents.

The life expectancy has increased considerably but the social values have gone down miserably. Indian system demanded care pf the children during old age but in this so called westernised world, we feel that old men are liabilities and should be got away with. Everything is calculated in Rupee and Rupee has no emotions.Thus the old are left out to mend for themselves and are allowed to rot and die in Olad age homes!!!!
