So, if my story begins with my birth, in the begining was me, and I was with my parents, and I was my parents(I was a result of my 2 parents), couldn't it mean that Jesus was God's godly son, a seperate being, but still a 'god' whom was the 'us' in the begining, and that the 'holy spirit/ghost' is a given characteristic of God and Jesus, or of a 'god?'
Or could this whole quote mean that in the begining God knew that he would create Jesus to be the annointed one. So the word was with him and was him because he creates everything, and everything is of God?

It is a common misconception that Jesus is the Word that is spoken of here.

The original uses the greek word 'logos', which is translated into English as 'word' because English cannot properly translate the word.

The logos is not the word. It is the thought that comes BEFORE the word. You visualize a dog in your mind and you say dog. You want to talk about cars and you immediately visualize a mental image of a car, even if one that's generic or a mix of many different types of cars. Those are 'logos'.

John is basically saying, "God and the Idea that becomes Reality existed eternally as one." John, it turns out, was a primary influence of the gnostic faith.

well, no, because you are not your parents, and neither are they you. you are the result of an act between two humans (your parents) in which cells united in order to form a single cell that became you.
God, however, has always been, and was not created, or "made" the same way we were. He did not create Jesus or the Holy Spirit, either, because they are one and the same. An analogy I like is the egg. God is three-in-one. The shell represents God the Father. The white part represents Jesus Christ. The yolk represents the Holy Spirit. But it's still all one egg with three very different parts. OR there's the good 'ol three-leaf clover. One leaf represents God, the second represents Christ, the third represents Holy Spirit, but even though they are separate LEAVES they all make one plant.

Idk if that answers your question, but I hope it helped! =)
God bless!

Exactly right. There are 3 separate beings in the Godhead, God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Ghost. Each a God in their own right. But of course we only worship God the Father as Christ taught.

The Father proposed building an earth so all his children (then spirits, including Christ) could get a body, gain experience and he knew sin and death would be present. Thats why he also proposed a Savior would be provided to redeem from death (free) and sin (if you repent otherwise you pay the price). We all accepted the plan, including Christ, knowing what he would have to do. Satan didn't like the plan because it involved giving everyone free will and he wanted the glory so in rebellion he was kicked out of heaven to earth with 1/3 of those that followed him and who will never receive bodies. Christ was with God in the beginning, came to earth got a body, died and was resurrected. The same will happen to everyone else.

God the Father is the father of everyones spirit, but of Christ, the only begotten he is the father of his spirit and of his earthly body.

These first verses of the Gospel of John are his introduction of Jesus to us. "In the beginning was the Word" - Jesus, "and the Word was with God" - Jesus, "and the Word was God" - Jesus.

So, Jesus was in the beginning, before time and creation, was with God, and was God. All of these simply point to the Holy Trinity, Jesus being the second person of the Trinity: one god, three divine persons.

Let me tell you a story from Saint Thomas. Back when he was alive he was writing a book on the trinity God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Well he took a walk down to the sea side one day and he saw this little boy whom had dug a hole in the sand. The little boy had a bucket and was going to the sea and getting water and taking and putting it in the hole. Well the boy watched as the water in the hole disappered into the sand, so saint Thomas walks over after seeing the boy do this for a while and asked him what he was doing. The little boy looked up and said I am going to dump the whole Mediterranean Sea into that little hole . Well Saint Thomas laughed and said you can't do that the water is going into the ground abd back into the sea. The little boy looked up and laughed and said; It would be easier for me to dump that whole sea into that hole than it would be for you to wrap your fragile mind around the meaning of the Trinity. With that the boy disappeared. The meaning of this story is that we can not grasp the true comcept of the Trinity in our minds so we must rely on faith that Nothing is impossible with God. We must accept that he is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

yeah - the 2nd part. God has well over 100 names / roles that are listed in the Bible. He is One, but He has many characteristics / parts. Jesus is God, just put in human form for our sake. He separated Himself only at the point where He died on the cross.

The be conscious is Jesus Christ. look lower back in Genesis and you will possibly be able to work out data of him there, as God says, "enable us to make guy in our image." The be conscious grow to be God is data that Jesus is an element of a triune God, as are the daddy and the Holy Spirit.

John 1:1 discusses two distinct persons: Almighty God Jehovah (the Father) and mighty god Jesus (the Son). The bible plainly teaches that Jesus has always served as Jehovah's spokesman and has always had a position of glory.

(John 12:44,49,50) Jesus cried out and said: “He that puts faith in me puts faith, not in me only, but in him also that sent me... 49 because I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak. 50 Also, I know that his commandment means everlasting life. Therefore the things I speak, just as the Father has told me them, so I speak them.”

(Deuteronomy 18:18) I shall indeed put my words in his mouth, and he will certainly speak to them all that I shall command him.

(John 8:38) What things I have seen with my Father I speak;

(John 14:10) The things I say to YOU men I do not speak of my own originality; but the Father

(Luke 24:27) And commencing at Moses and all the Prophets [Jesus] interpreted to them things pertaining to himself in all the Scriptures.

(John 1:18) No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom position with the Father is the one that has explained him.

(John 17:5) Father, glorify me alongside yourself with the glory that I had alongside you before the world was.

Several bibles translate John 1:1 in a manner compatible with the phrase "the Word was a god". Frankly, the entire bible teaches that Jesus (the Word) is distinct from and subject to Jehovah the Father.

Reading the bible to learn how to walk in love, patience, kindness, gentleness, etc. toward oneself & especially toward other people, wiithout judging others, as Jesus taught IS
Very Important. (1 Cor. 13:4-7;11 & Matthew
7:1-5 please read these verses in the Amplified Bible - it gives an easy to understand meaning, from the original Greek Scriptures from the New Testament)!

Your Question, I believe according to the Bible and Most of Christianity means:

**"In the beginning [before all time/before time began] was the Word {Jesus Christ/Rev. 19:13, 16 - pls. read], and the Word was with God, and the Word Himself was God [Isa. 9:6 also
read in the amplified bible to gain insight/understanding] ! John 1:1 in the Amplified Bible. Jesus Christ, as the Word of God, in heaven created all that is seen and unseen, according to John 1:2.
And John 1:12 says "And the Word {Jesus Christ] became flesh[a human being/incarnate]
and tabernacled (fixed His tent/body of flesh, & lived awhile) among us and we actually saw His glory (Honor and Majesty), such glory as the only begotten son(the Word) receives from his father, full of Grace (having favor, full of lovingkindness), having Truth. [Isa. 40:5 read also]. From the Amplified bible of the Greek New Testament.

Also in 1 John 5:7-8 [Amplified Bible] says,
"There are three witnesses in heaven: The Father, The Word {John 1:1, 14; Isa. 9:6), and The Holy Spirit {Acts 5:1-10 pls read, Ananias & Sapphira lied{tired to deceive] to the Holy Spirit, who it states in these verses IS God], and these three are ONE {GOD];
vs. 8 and there are three witnesses on the earth: The Holy Spirit, the water{the Word of God], and the blood{of Jesus]; and these three
are in unison; their testimonies coincides."

According to the christian bible, the Word{Jesus Christ] always existed, was not created.
At the appropriate time in history when humanity needed the Word incarnated, made flesh/into a human being, He became a human being, revealing to the world the nature, every thought and the very expression of the Father God. Jesus did often say, "If you've seen me, you've seen the Father God !"***

Try not to complicate things for yourself.
Take a few deep breaths, relax mentally & physically, releasing all anxiety, stress and simply ponder deeply on this explanation.

Even if one does not believe in a god, and/or
in Most Christians interpretation of the bible's concept of the Trinity, it really still is Not difficult to understand.
If one does not believe in God, or in the trinity, they still can understand the concept, without having to adopt it into their philosophy of life, AND without harshly judging or condemning such a concept. Patience, Understanding, and Tolerance toward all religions/people is helpful in having successful relationships (on all levels)
with human beings.

For Most Christians, especially Born Again Christians, this docrine is a founding principle,
very important to performing right effort with sincerity in their walk with their deity God {the
Father, The Word[Jesus Christ], and The Holy Spirit. The Word of God, the Bible, represents to the Christian, all that God is - in His Character, Nature, etc. and is a Revelation to all Mankind to what Truth really is.

I am not a Christian, my wife is. And through a bible she gave me 9 years ago, I have learned much. Three years ago, I had purchased for a $1.00 on amazon.com a New King James Version of the Bible, as well as a Strong concordance of the Bible {in order to learn what any word means in the bible, in its original meaning - whether Hebrew for the Old Testament, or Greek for the New Testament.
Have discovered 4 months ago through a Free download of the entire bible, through E-Sword-
which also has the Strongs Concordance of the Bible attached to it as well.

Anyway, I hope all this information helps
a little.

Am not trying to convert you or anything of that nature, simply wished to share some of the little information I have learned.

I know not much, and do not claim to have all the answers in life, but I do my best to have a humble teachable attitude.

You will probably receive many helpful, and correct answers. It is great when people are hungry through open-mindedness to learn new truths from other religions and their philosophy's of Life.

Take Care of Yourself.
