I'm so effin' sweet that I melt in the rain...when I don't feel like walking in between the raindrops.

After 33 years of marriage, my wife is still sweet. Oh, it has taken on a new look which is called sincerity, but the sweet is just her.
It is not just a honeymoon stage if it is real. Sweet can still be sweet, even if you two do not always agree. It is how you present yourself after the disagreement.
Sweet, in the case of relationships, is the way you interact with others. Sincere sweet is in the heart, and other than growth and maturity will stay the same. It is some people's nature, and that is easy to see. You can always tell how sweet a person is when you have had an argument or disagreement and watch their reaction after the argument or disagreement is over. Have they changed? Or are they still the same person.
Sweetness grows with time, and if you have a sincerely sweet person in your life, do not lose him or her.

I'm always sweet - even my ex hubby would agree to that (he was the one that made the critical error that ended the marriage)
