First of all, tanning beds will not cook/burn your insides. If you go 5 times a day 7 days a week, then that might be a problem. Otherwise your fine. I think I went every other day.
Now with those bumps.. you might want to get them checked out by a dermatologist. It might be a heat rash- I've had this before while in Arizona after a long day in the sun. You also might have had an allergic reaction to the lotion you used. Does it hurt or itch? Either way I'd get it checked out- it never hurts and the doctor might prescribe you something for it so it goes away quicker.

There is a long word for those tiny red bumps. I forget the word though. What caused them is that you must live in a climate that has 4 seasons, summer, winter, fall & spring. Some ppl skin is sensitive and when they use tanning beds and tan for too long they can break out all over their bodies. I owned my own salon 4 years ago. Check with your doctor to be sure it's not scabbies or another rash. If it's not scabbies the bumps will go away on their own as long as you stay OUT of the tanning bed to let your skin heal. (only a few days) Once the bumps are gone (if it's a fungus or bug the bumps will not go away til you see your doctor). We got rid of the tanning bed "blues" as we called them, by tanning for only 3 min at a time till the first brown skin appeared. Wait till ALL bumps are gone first before starting out slowly like this. I think it took about 8-10 3-4 min increments before I could step my clients up to 6min. I stepped them up 2-3 mins at a time. Worked wonders! Never got the bumps back again. Remember, depending on the bulbs, 5 mins could be equivalent to 2.5 hours in the hot noontime sun! So 2-3 min is like laying out for an hour and a half. Slow to cook that sensitive body! But it'll be worth it! Good luck! fyi, Remember, MD's do NOT rec the use of tanning beds or laying out in the sun. Can cause skin cancer. Doesn't keep me from laying out though, my choice. lol

Are you using a protecting cream and how long do you tan for?
Its usually a sign of the skin being damages. You're literally cooking your skin!
What are the colors of the bumps, be careful especially when they're discolored. Skin cancer can be caused by tanning beds, so just limit the time you're in there and dont go in without some kind of cream to help protect your skin.
Chances are its just a burn because they're so small and numerous and occurred only after a week

if they are little white bumps that look like patches of skin that won't tan, it could just mean you need to exfoliate better.
If it's more of a rash, then you may be allergic to your lotion. Try switching it and if it still continues, it could be the cleaner the staff uses to sanatize the beds.
One last possibility is that it could just that you are going to much and it is a product of you burning.
No matter what though, just be careful. I use to be an avid tanner and was recently at my doctor and he told me that someone who goes even twice a week puts themselves at huge risk for skin cancer. My Aunt was just diagnoised with cancer this month and she also was big in tanning. It made me realize that having skin a couple shades darker wasn't really worth the risk.
Anyways, something to think about and good luck!

It's possible that the tanning bed is not being cleaned properly after each client and you have some sort of skin infection. I would definitely make a doctor's appointment to find out and not got to that tanning bed again.

It sounds like a reaction you are having to either the intense light from the tanning bed, the lotion you are using to tan with, or both. You may want to slow it down and go every 2-3 days if you are going every day.

Its probably a skin condition from sweating in those beds, make sure you wash with an antibacterial soap after tanning. I'd bet the bumps are a type of pimple!
