NEVER a good idea with an existing friend unless you do not care about having an ongoing relationship. I have been on both ends of an arrangement and it never works long-term and ends up destroying the friendship.

Sex changes everything, even if it is just one time. One party or the other ALWAYS care more about the other one and gets it into their head that it is not just a booty call friend, but more, and then they start hanging on tighter and tighter and being more needy, whiny and clingy which in turn, drives the other party further and further away.

Friendships that turn into friends with benefits usually dont work out, someone usually always gets emotionally attatched. You need to analyze these girls emotions before you decide to go further. If they are messes with old boyfriends or guys in general, its probably not a good idea.

One of my female friends has managed to have sex with friends and still remain friends. I can't have sex with people unless I feel emotionally attached to them.

So, if you feel that you can remain a friend (and nothing more) in the morning, then go for your life. If they become emotionally attached to you, take that problem as it comes.

F/27. I have had relationships like this and they have always turned out fine. You need a girl that knows the difference between sex and love.

Yes, I've done it and it does create emotional drama, but it's still worth it. I have no regrets.

Friends with benefits are awesome. Just make sure they're not too sleazy and have STD's or something.
