I'm a student who makes about 23000 (gross) can someone tell me how much should i be expecting for return i have no childs and i declare myself as a dependent. please reply

go to turbotax and they estimate how much u will be getting back. it depends on how much tax was taken out not how much in made a year

Income: $23,000
Less:
Standard Deduction: $5,150

Personal Exemption: $3,300

Taxable Income: $14,550

Tax: $1,775, taking the $30 telephone excise credit.

If your withholding was more than $1,775 you get a refund, if less, you owe the difference.

If you can take a deduction or credit for education you will owe less tax.

not enough info - you get your standard deduction but was there any withholding?

Get TurboTax and find out (Don't go to H&R Block since they are idiots that don't know tax law)
