Pierce the large end of egg w/ a needle to release pressure that often cracks the shell. Put the egg in a pan & fill w/ water. Briong to a boil, simmer for 12 minutes.

Remove from heat and place egg in cold water immediately. An overcooked egg develops a harmless dark ring that isn't as appetizing as the bright-yellow yolk.

Bring the water to a boil and add salt then place the egg or eggs in the boiling water for about 15 minutes, remove the eggs and place in a bowl of cold water for about 5 to 10 minutes and the shell won't stick to the egg!

Best Way is place your eggs in a pan of water just enough to cover the eggs. Once the water reaches the boiling point shut off the gas and cover the pan and let it sit for about 5-10 more minutes.
