One of the only reasons you may be asking this, is that you are too young to be dating. If not, you should be fine just telling them that you have a boyfriend. It's inevitable at some point. I can't understand your hesitation. Maybe more information would help.

Very carefully and from a safe distance.
Seriously, just tell them that there is a guy you've been spending time with over the past month and you want them to meet him. Discuss it with the guy beforehand and make sure he dresses appropriately when he meets them. Just jeans and a shirt are fine. No caps or shirts with disgusting slogans and such.
They will ask you how you met and what he's like and how he is in school. Prepare for the 20 questions.
Keep open communication with your parents and don't hide the big things from them. They want to protect you and you can prove to them by your responsibly actions that you can be trusted.
Good luck.

How?
As quickly as possible.
As a mother I would feel less likely to be concerned if I found out about this a month later than a year later!
Best to be open with the folks and to act responsibly because that way they get used to you being an "adult" about it all and to give you the space they deserve.
My daugher is 15 and because of our circumstances she has not got a "boyfriend" but she does have a friendship with a boy which is not yet "committed" and she tells me enough about it for me to be able to trust her to discuss any next steps with me when the day comes. If it does.
:-)
Trust is a two way street- if you do not trust your family to stand with you as you grow up then how will they trust you?
All the best!

To be honest, unless it is getting really serious with this guy, you are under no obligation to tell them. Once it gets serious then its not fair to keep it from them. When you need to tell them, just come out and say it, they'll be happy to know what their daughter is doing and they'll be even happier that you told them.

Invite him over to your house and introduce him to your parents as your boyfriend. They'll get a chance to know him, and vise-versa, and hopefully they will approve of him.

Break to them easy, meaning sit them down away from objects that can be thrown at you. Talk to them, let them know how good of a guy he is. They'll understand. Hopefully.

Just tell them don't be so scared. Your parents love you and should support whatever you do. I hope you don't bring home a loser!
