I only made 10065.00.1297.60 fed was taken out,and 584.00 state.Im claiming 2 dependents how much could i possibly get back.

You'd most likely get the amount that was withheld for federal plus EIC. EIC is based on income and how many dependants.

You won't be able to deduct any charitable contributions unless you're filing schedule A which would be your Itemized deductions. If you are filing Head of Household your standard deduction is about $7500 (I may be off a couple hundred, since it changes every year) So your itemized deductions will have to be more than your standard deductions.

Assuming that you have 2 children you should get everything back. You also probably qualify for the EITC. That could add quite a bit more to your refund.

not enough info to answer - sorry but why do so many people expect a refund amount when they don't give enough info - what state? married? any other deductions or is it standard deduction?

you could lie but thats wrong...in the future maybe give more to donations and you could cheat that a little and get more back...possibly...not sure on that theroy never tried...but i guess it could work!
