where would you say the most common palce is to meet a significant other?

and try not to sar "bar" because i dont mean one nighters.
but lasting relationships....

I met my bf on match.com. and we have a really good relationship, but I had a lot of bad dates and one bad relationship from on-line dating before I met him...so....you have to be smart about it. Otherwise the answer I comonnly hear is meeting people through other friends.
