ummmmm I would guess Arizona?
if you need a passport you have gone too far....too far south would put you in Mexico, where you would need a passport.

back in time from EST... means travel west. Time changes and Arizona is 3 hrs different from the eastern seaboard.
Yup, I say Arizona. Could be Utah or Nevada but they tend to be cooler than AZ and the passport clue means its right next to a place you would need one....
