-one who spends time with the children
-one who provides the best he could (does not have to be most expensive, etc. just what he could
-one who supports his children in all school and legit extra curricular activities eg sports, school plays, etc
-one who loves his children unconditionally- not my child when good and your child when bad
-one who is able to correct his child when the child is wrong without being abusive, etc
There is no perfect parent but one should always aim to be the best.

an ideal parent to me is someone who puts you first in their life, are always there for you, teach you right from wrong, loves you, is proud of you and what you become, raises you to be independent and accepts that independence once you are older.
