Why do we want to leave them, and when we do, we want to be with them?

Can someone explain, and help me how to deal with this issue!?

Because most people want what they can't have. Also, some people are afraid of being single, so they get scared and are with someone JUST to be with someone...no matter how that person treats them or if they're happy or not.

We all need to learn to be happy with ourselves and know that we are okay on our own and don't need someone else to make us happy.

Ashly its not the person we want to leave its the problems that they bring--when we cant get the points across what is really the problem then we run from it (the problem) but in that we are leaving the person too --and they are not what we want to leave--its a twisted story to be sure but if you think about it --it does make sense--like telling someone over and over to change something you cant tolerate--but they wont --so sooner or later you just walk away --so people need to become more tolerant to others and their ways --pick your battles well so you are not left standing sad--

Because we develop a "comfort zone" with them and when that "zone" is broken we feel as though something is missing. As for dealing with it.....time. It will take some time but as it goes on you will realize you are making it without them. In some situations you also realize you are better off without them.

The empty nest syndrome so to speak. It is learning how to fill that time you spent with other person. some times we schedule our life around relationships and when it is over were at a loss . that is why we feel we want them back .

They do us wrong-we refuse to take it and leave. But we remember the good times,feeling loved...and want it all back. It's a vicious circle!
