I just need any major developments in the jury system over the last ten years, preferably those which I can reference for a piece of work.

Maybe the home office website or the DCA website will have some articles. There are some recent consultation papers regarding diversity and whether we should be allowed to do academic research into the decision-making process along with the selection process etc. One of the major developments recently was Lord Woolf's reforms, so more people can do jury service eg. Lawyers, Doctors. I can't remember what act it's been incorporated into though...possibly the Juries Act 2003 - guess that would be an amendment Act though? - the reforms came into force of April 1st 2004...I think it was 2004 lol. I think the AJA 1999 has some part in the reforms too.
