i just heard a therapist on tv tell a girl that her boyfriend loves her, he just doesn't love her enough.. what does that mean to you?

Maybe he likes her but isn't so into her that if someone better, prettier, etc. came along he wouldn't leave her. I haven't been in a relationship in years because I haven't found someone I feel I like enough. Seems to me that it's bad karma (or whatever) to lead someone on.

He loves her when it is convenient for him, but not enough to commit to a level where it will lead to anything more or go out of his way for her. If things get tough, he will bolt.
