John 10:16 says "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."

So Jesus has people in other many other religions. When they hear his voice to go to one fold they will go. It is his ultimate desire that everyone belong to the same organisation with the same belief system, so that there is one fold and one shepherd.

Acts 17:30-31: And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Also it is shown here that God will judge righteously and will not judge people based on what they do not know. Things that you are ignorant of, you will not be judge on. However that does not include willfil ignorance.

God will decide who will go to heaven and who will not based on the amount of light we have received and whether we have lived in accordance with that light.

I personally believe there are certain truths that one must accept to "make it to heaven" ie accepting Christ and following him. But this life is all about choices and following what some call the "light of Christ" Everyone has it, most refer to it as their conscience. If one follows those good promtings wherever they live or are what they taught, they'll be okay. A mentally handicap person that can't process faith or anything of the sort is not condemned because they don't know any better. The same with someone who had never heard of Christ. I believe that everyone must confess and aknowledge that Jesus is their Savior. If no one had even heard of him- living in some remote island would they be condemned by the God that had them born in that area? Of course not! If they live according to the good feelings inside them, they have their chance to learn and accept Christ. And if they did follow those good feelings of course they would accept him when that time comes, in this life or after.

Being faithful to their religion will have no bearing at all. What matters is what you do with Christ. If someone never get to hear, many of us believe they will be a part of those alive during the 1000 year reign of Christ and will have their chance at the end to accept or reject.

Being faithful to a religion is not the same as loving God. He wants relationships, not followers.

No human being can tell you if someone is going to Heaven or hell. They can guess until the cows come home but that's between God or whatever deity that person believes in and that individual.

Hell is merely the Christian concept of an afterlife. All religions have their own. Perhaps that is what was meant by God's many mansions...there is a place for all good living people to go.

I don't know about Christians, but I know that the Quran says the following:

002.062 Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Jesus is the only way. The world has the witness of God; therefore, there is no excuse not to follow Jesus. Faith in anything else but Christ is faith in the world, which is faith in the devil.

If he never heard of Jesus or the Bible, he will go to Heaven if he did what he knew was right, but if he rejected Jesus or the Bible, then he will go to Hell.
