My boyfriend and i have lived together for 9 months. We have both decided to move out and back with our families (we live in a very expensive city) fir 6 months until we can save some money.

Last night we were arguing because I was frustrated with him for not helping me. I went to school in morning at 8am, went to work for 8 hours, went home and cleaned, I asked him to help with he dishes, and I left back to school til 9pm. I got home at 9:30 (exhausted) and there was all the dishes piled up and he was not home. When he got home I was doing the dishes and I was not happy.

Anyway, we argued and he said, "why dont you quit while your ahead" "Your digging yourself a ditch, and I will push you in it!" Then he elbowed me. Later that night he also kicked me 3 times out of anger. Im really scared and this isnt the first time he has got violent and mean. He also said , "You arent the only girl out there for me"

Im confused, need some advice

leave him cause he is only going to get worse then what he is.

when you go back home never see him again find a man that will help and wont ever touch you unless it is romantically.

you are in an abusive relationship and that is really not good. if he takes it to the next level he might hurt for the last time.

never let a man hit you cause without you he would not be here.

keep your head up and good luck im going to prey for you.

Oh my goodness! there is NO reason for him to be treating you like that! if he is really serious about those comments that he made, you really need an awkward talk with him. It might not be pretty but it will give you some answers. Maybe he isnt the right guy for you.

I know its not the advice you might want, but telling you that its all going to be okay and you will stay together forever and get married and have children, MIGHT be making false promises.
I do hope the situation can sort itself out.
I hope that you do well in life.
Try to be ever so slightly opitmistic..... :(

is this the kind of man you wanna spent your whole life with? today he kicks you...tomorrow...only God knows what he might do to you. Your decision of going back to stay with your family is a good idea. maybe you guys need some time apart...both of you need some space away from each other and think wisely about what you should do next. when you are on each other face everyday you might not be able to think deep enough. while you are stuill together please take my advice. Do not push him too much. Remember...if you are not the only girl for him...well, he's not the only man for you.

Well, first of all you should not have to do everything by yourself being as though he's not handicapped or anything, but you need to leave his trifling *** alone because he doesn't aprreciate all that you do, and he should atleast be able to keep the house clean or something. I mean what is he there for!! You can get ding-ding, without all the extra attitude from someone else.

When you move out, do not look back, girl. This guy is not worth an ounce of your time. Seems to me like you're the one doing all the work while you're trying to get an education and better yourself. He's just along for the ride...ditch him and find yourself someone who is more worthy of you.

If you let this go, he will keep thinking this kind of behaviour is acceptable. If you stay with him, you will risk him being more abusive.

If he can look down on you, then in his eyes you are not his equal. This is wrong

Imho the answer to partners who cheat or abuse is the same - Leave immediately. Just pack and go. Nobody should treat you that way, in anger or not.

GET OUT ASAP!!!!!

I had a boyfriend who went psychotic and would push me, slam me against the wall drag me on the floor, etc. Then he would pride himself on the fact that he never hit me.

You will feel better once you do.Living with your family is a small price to pay, even if you love him.

Let him know that touching you in that way is NOT OKAY!

Be strong and ask family for help. Good Luck!

i really understand your problem i know some one that used to have that problem and guess what it gets worst. girl you dont need him you need some one that wants to help you. instead of hitting you he should rub your back and feet since your always exhausted. i feel for you really if i was you ill leave him in the dust. But if you really feel like you should stay let him know whos boss make it clear that he wont lay another hand on you. The decision is up to you now all i have to say is good luck :(

Leave him now before the violence gets worse and you end up seriously injured or in your coffin. Analyze the remark he made about a ditch, doesn't that tell you something? You said this isn't the first time. That should also tell you something. Believe me it will continue and it will get worse. So like I said, leave him now. You don't want to live in constant fear do you?

Love isnt supposed to hurt, this is not sweet sorrow. Dear god woman, ive been there done that...you deserve better and stop ignoring the voice in you that knows best. Pack your things and leave, and he will cry,. beg and plead, dont you dare take him back!
