What is a girl suppose to do, ignore his phone calls and leave him alone?

I have been friends with this guy for quite sometime now. We use to talk everyday but now im lucky if I get to hear him 2 times in a week. Recently he told me that he loved me and that I mean so much to him. We talked about a relationship, and he stated that by us living almost 4 hours away from each other would make it hard so he would rather not be in one. Im so confused, if we are just friends and he does not want to be nothing more, then why does he keep telling me " I love you baby". Last nite he called and we talked a lil and he was singing, and i heard him say " Merie, babygurl i wonder if your in my life temporay or forever, will u be my wife etc...." I know this really doesnt make sense but our freindship really doesnt. I thought maybe he meant I love you as a friend, but he says more than a friend. I mean sexually and romantically. what I dont understand is why does he call me and tell me about other girls that try to get in a relationship with him. What am I to do?

Sounds like you may be a good back up plan if the local girls don't pan out.

If he loves you, especially if he loves you enough to make you his wife, he would make the four hour gap work. Four hours isn't that bad.

Next time he tells you he loves you, or that he wants to be with you, ask him why he doesn't act on his feelings.

Don't sell yourself short. You deserve someone who will make you the center of his world.
