General Patton said that no one ever won a war dying for his country. Wars are won by making the other side die for THEIR country.

Define the circumstances. I would die to defend my country, but I would not invade a country that did not pose a threat on the orders of someone following "whoopsie" kind of intelligence.

When you say "for", you fail to state whether in defense, or upon potentially dictatorial order.
