You need to run FAR,FAR AWAY from it. Mazda 626's have the worst luck on transmissions. Even though he said that it was replaced a couple of years ago. I worked for a car lot repoing vehicles. I also handled repairs of our vehicles and Mazda 626's are the worst. We stop selling them because of all the problems we were having out of them.

I had a Mazda 626 and it did not have that many miles on it. But to honest with you I really hated very much. I thing that will go on it will be the Trans. I replace the trans on my Mazda four times before I sold it.
Good Luck!!!!!!

i own a repair shop and its probably a good car to have went that far in that little of time, but that is a lot of miles on any car,the price should be a little less considering its almost worn out,you probably could find something that has lower miles on it for that price,,but if you like it ,and it runs and drives good,it may be worth it,id be care full on this one, your basically buying a car that is almost worn out, good luck i hope this help,s.

According to NADA book it seems reasonable. I would have it checked out first for sure. Good luck.
