I live in WI and pay child support in ILL will they take my whole tax return or just federal cuz its not there state? i filed online and chose direct deposit option so will i see any of that?

i dont know how much you owe, so i cant answer that question. IF you owe thousands, and IF there is a tax refund intercept in place, then NOPE you wont see it, they'll take it.

If your refunds are attached for child support, you'll lose whatever portion of your refund is required to satisfy the support order. If your refund is larger than the outstanding support amount, you'll get whatever is left. If it's not enough, you'll lose the entire refund. State refunds are subject to attachment as well. The order is not for the state's benefit, but for the child's so it doesn't matter what state the order is from or where the child or you reside.

If you did the right thing in the first place and paid your child support you wouldn't be in this situation.
