Pineapple won't actually rot your teeth and gums but it's very acidic and this will soften your tooth enamel. Make sure you don't brush your teeth straight after eating or drinking anything acidic for at least 30 mins, this is so your saliva has had time to repair the damage from the acids. If you brush a softened tooth surface you'll make the matter worse. hope this helps.

All food do generally speaking but pineapple especially because the fruit gets stuck inbetween your teeth easily. Just make sure you floss within 12 hours of eating it and you'll be OK.

It could add to it if you don't brush and floss regularly.
In addition to the strings getting stuck in between your teeth, pineapple is very sweet and acidic. The bacteria feast on the sugars, producing more acid which causes decay.

any thing can rot your teeth if you don't clean them, but pineapple is used to clean the mouth of people who are very ill.
Because of the enzymes it is also very good for getting rid of thrush.(in the mouth)

yes it might if you eat enough of it without cleaning your teeth there are powerful protein digesters within pineapple so much so that it can be used as a meat tenderiser (not sure about the pineapple steak combo though!)

only if you don't brush your teeth after eating it. There are powerful enzymes in fresh pineapple, and if left in the mouth for a protracted time, will indeed cause problems. Just brush your teeth after eating it, no problem.
