hi, i have a question. my granma has a yorkie named kaiser bill and earlier today a handy man was working on her septic system and she forgot to tie him up (kaiser bill, i mean) and he fell down a sewage pipe. don't worry, theres nothing nasty down there right now, but kaiser bill is barking and barkin and we don't know how to get him out. i seen a thing on ducks down a gutter once and to get them out they put a garden hose in there and floated them up. we were thinking to try that with kaiser bill?

Oh goodness, that isn't funny at all, but I couldn't help but giggle at the visuals!

Your yorkie might float...so long as it doesn't struggle too much, which honestly it probably will. Call your animal control center, perhaps they've encountered something like this. Also contact your sewage company...there might be an access panel somewhere.

Does Kaiser Bill swim? He'll need to if you fill up the tank with water! Call the SPCA or your local animal rescue center, they not only give you advice but may come out and help!
Good luck little doggie!

You don't want to put a garden hose down there because you will make the situation worse. I would call animal control and the sewage company. They will be able to help your dog.

If you were trying to get rid of him, i would have gone with the classics. Throw him in a river with a bag over him.

Although if he is barking, id assume he's not dead yet.
