I've heard that celery requires more calories to digest than you consume when eating it, so the more celery you eat the more weight you lose. But celery doesn't taste that great. So I was wondering, with all our breakthroughs in sciency and chemistry, why can't someone invent Pizza that tastes as good as Papa Johns, but is actually negative calories like celery. I think that invention alone would solve the obesity problem in the United States.

While it's true that digesting celery burns more calories than it contains, the effects are negligible. You're not going to burn any substantial calories by eating celery. Consider it a "free food" rather than a calorie burner.

Well for one papa johns is the most vile pizza in existance, and for two if you think "negative calorie" foods are going to help you lose weight, you're mistaken anyway.

then it would be the same as eating nothing and getting no nutrients and we would all die of starvation, It's an individual choice as to what they put in their mouth. If a person is overweight they only have them self to blame, no one makes you eat unhealthy food only you do that. Unless you have a medical problem that hinders weightloss
